that's how many pieces are in this quilt top. My next task= hand quilting this baby. But I am waiting for it to feel a bit more fall-ish and the idea of cozying up under it sounds more enticing. I am ready to say so-long summer, even though it was swell.
I made my little baby cousin a special little Raggedy Anne doll for her second birthday. The little plush darling has been named 'Baby' and gets carried around everywhere. I was made Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls by my grandmother when I was little and how I loved them!I enjoyed doing my own take of this classic doll, making her with my usual patterned legs(I picked a pink polka dot to coordinate with her floral dress)and wool felt hair, as well as a hand embroidered face and heart on her chest too. What fun!
Well since I last posted: I left Connecticut, spent a few days in Savannah, went out west to Utah for a week, and have returned for my senior year of college right here in little old Savannah. Maybe now that I am settled I will be good about posting...maybe.
