The folks at my local Starbucks now know me quite well. Ever since I got back from Savannah my wireless internet hasn't been working at my aprtment so instead I've been taking a daily trip to get coffee+wifi. The good news is that it has prompted me to be more productive without the internet as a distraction at home. I got another sample done for a class proposal--this time a hand quilting class for kids! Thankfully I do have an iPhone so I was able to stitch this up while listening to Mumford & Sons on Pandora. It was a pretty nice way to spend my Thursday night.
I made this ENTIRELY by hand. It felt nice to know that my ten little fingers did it all by themselves--no sewing machine required!
(Obviously the fact that I have to purchase a drink to use the internet has prompted me to be a better blogger since I want my trip to be worth its while.)
