I've made some more progress on this dollie girl. It is nice to challenge myself to something more complex and to give myself the time to fully develop my ideas. For me it is a nice practice in slow design: taking time to make intentional choices and craft it with care. I still want to make her a coat and shoes from wool felt and then I think I will call her done. Its my goal to finish her up and then go back to making some more things for my shop assembly line style, but this little break from that mentality has been nice. It is also bringing me back to the days of sewing outfits for my dolls and stuffed animals when I was little. Fun fun!
