today was a bit busy---it was crunch time to try and get a few more things accomplished on my to-do list for this week before the artist market tomorrow.
I started out the day making some more owlie rattle stroller toys...
then I made some hand puppets. Followed by stitching up some finger puppets, pricing the newly made items, and packing up my car so I'll be ready to go in the morning!

Today I completed five pop-up puppets (just in time for the artist market tomorrow)--and for those of you who can't come and see them in person tomorrow....
I made sure you wouldn't miss out on all the fun and created this little animation.

I had a custom request for a pink a brown version of my love quilt. So I whipped one up using cotton & linen...

I tried something a little new--I made pesto using mint + basil and it was so very yummy! and it's a good thing too, since now I know what to do with the mint forest that I have going on in my herb garden (it is seriously taking over!) Then of course I used it for pasta salad...
I just made enough for a single serving and I did all the mincing by hand, but if you have one of those small food processors that would do the trick as well.
