Photographer for a day

On Monday I had the privilege of photographing some of my dearest friend's work for their senior portfolios. It was fun to do some photostyling and hang out with friends even though the weather was absolutely hot and humid(I feel sweaty just thinking about it).

First up was Miss Erica Parker and her quilts and their sweet matching plush friends.

Next was Miss Kara Wentz, and all of her lovely creations from little books to stuffed animals to this gorgeous dress.

Last was Miss Janelle Gates and her quilt which is just darling.

And there you have it...a little peek into what my friends have been working very very very hard on, I'm so proud of you all!

Things I love?

So just like the TV shows you have to watch on a weekly basis, I have decided that some sort of regular weekly posting really isn't my style. So thus last week's 10 things I love Sunday is probably my last one. Not wanting to leave you with nothing though here are three exciting things from this week...
1. My turquoise blue, t-strap, peeptoes arrived in the mail. Oh yes please!

2. I finished my quilt for France. Done and DONE!(with more than a week to spare mind you).

3. I made a new needlebook since my last one was unfortunately a little (or a lot) worse for wear.

 

So there are some pretty little things that made my week brighter!
